NOTICE OF ELECTION Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the Village of Lewisburg Council, Preble County, Ohio, passed on the 30th day of January, 2025, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the Special Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 6th day of May, 2025 the question of levying a tax, in excess of the ten-mill limitation: Issue 4 A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Brown Memorial Library, a municipal public library of the Village of Lewisburg, for the purpose of current expenses that the county auditor estimates will collect $29,000 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1 mill for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $2 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's appraised value, for 5 years, commencing in 2025, first due in calendar year 2026.
