Village of Camden, Ohio Camden Walking Path Trail AVERTISEMENT FOR BID Sealed bids for the Village of Camden "Camden Walking Path Trail" project will be received at the office of Kramer & Associates, LLC, located at 101 North Barron Street, Eaton, Ohio, 45320 until 11:00 a.m. local time, Thursday, August 21, 2025, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud. The outside of the envelope shall be marked "PROJECT BID" - Camden Walking Path Trail. GENERAL DESCRIPTION FOR CAMDEN WALKING PATH TRAIL: Construction of a ten foot (10') wide asphalt walking path beginning at the south end of town on the north side of South Street in the east right-of-way of US 127 and continuing north 5885 Lin Ft to approximately 200 feet south of Beasley Run Creek, including two street crossings, five drainage culverts crossings, & two stream crossings The Village of Camden reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or waive any irregularities. Proposals will only be accepted from bidders who have obtained Contract Documents (including plans and specifications) for a non-refundable fee of $60.00 and have been registered as a plan holder. Checks shall be made payable to Kramer & Associates, LLC and mailed to 101 North Barron Street, Eaton, Ohio, 45320. Each bid must be accompanied by either a bid bond in an amount of 100% of the bid amount with a surety satisfactory to the aforesaid Village of Camden, or by certified check, cashiers check, or letter of credit upon a solvent bank in the amount of not less than 10% of the bid amount in favor of the aforesaid Village of Camden. Bid bonds shall be accompanied by Proof of Authority of the official or agent signing the bond. A payment bond and a performance bond in the amount of 100% of the contract is required upon the awarding of the Contract. The proposal must be made on the forms provided therefore in the contract documents, or a copy thereof, with a price quoted for the work. This is an Ohio Department of Natural Resources Clean Ohio Trails Fund project and funding for it comes from both the Ohio Department of Natural Resources and the Village of Camden. Therefore, payment to the contractor for contract work will be proportioned and sent directly from each funding source. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of their experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor's compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Preble County and the Village of Camden, Ohio, as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce Division of Labor and Worker Safety Wage and Hour Bureau, (614) 644-2239.
